Cosede

The Deposit Insurance Corporation (COSEDE) is insurance of deposits to the coverage in force for natural or legal person, except as otherwise provided in the General Law of Financial Institutions, as amended by the Law of Creation of the Safety Net financial and other applicable regulations.

Shall be protected by insurance coverage, the demand deposits or time deposits made ​​by individuals or legal entities in private financial institutions, in the form of checking accounts, savings, time deposits or other means legally accepted, according with the law and the rules of a general nature shall be issued by the Banking Board.
